The concept for the visual identity of the 25th Book Fair(y) in Istria is based on archival photographs of the City of Pula from the collections of the History and Maritime Museum of Istria. Selected photographs were digitally manipulated into a series of original graphic works that trace the city’s continuity across historical periods and social change, revealing familiar locations in an unexpected light. These images function as integral elements of the visual identity, appearing both in the public space of Pula and as autonomous exhibition works.
The Book Fair(y) in Istria is an international book fair and literary festival held annually in Pula since 1995.
