Rogoz (lat. Typha latifolia) is a fully hand-crafted wicker backpack made from woven bulrush, a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional market basket. Originally used for carrying groceries, the form has been redesigned to suit modern everyday use and travel, while preserving its cultural and material authenticity.
The woven body is produced on a loom from dried bulrush strips. Natural leather shoulder straps are interlaced afterward to form a functional backpack. The leather is available in several colors and is hot-pressed with the product logo inspired by the bulrush plant itself. A separate waterproof and impregnated cotton textile insert, available in two colors, protects personal items and creates a practical inner layer.
Rogoz is made exclusively from natural materials—wicker, leather, and cotton—and is available in two sizes and material/color combinations. Its basic elements—the woven body, leather straps, and textile interior—make it functionally adapted to contemporary needs while retaining the recognizable character of its traditional predecessor.
