1. General Provisions

These conditions determine the procedure for ordering, payment, delivery, and reclamation of products offered on this site. By purchasing through the webshop, the Customer accepts these Terms and Conditions. Oaza Books reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any time, and such changes will apply to all subsequent use of the webshop. The Customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information submitted during purchase. The services provided by the Oaza Books webshop do not include the costs that the Customer may incur when using computer equipment, internet access services or any other means necessary to access the webshop, and Oaza Books is not responsible for these costs.

The seller is Umjetnička organizacija Oaza, and the buyer is a visitor to this site who fills in an electronic order, sends it to the seller and makes payment by card or direct bank transfer.

2. Ordering

The Customer orders products through the electronic order form available on the webshop. A Customer is defined as any person who orders at least one product, completes the required information and submits an order electronically. Products are ordered by selecting an item, adding it to the shopping cart and confirming the payment method. The order is considered submitted when the Customer confirms the selected method of payment. All prices displayed on the webshop are expressed in Euros and include VAT.

Products are ordered electronically, by clicking on a specific product and storing it in the cart. The products are considered ordered at the moment when the buyer chooses and confirms the method of payment.

3. Payment

You can pay for your goods as set out below. Depending on the payment method you choose, additional costs and terms may apply.

3.1. Credit card or debit card

Ordered products or services are paid online with one of the credit or debit cards: Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Diners or Discover.

When the Customer chooses to pay by card, the payment is processed via Monri Payments, our secure payment partner. All communication with Monri is encrypted. Oaza Books does not store credit card numbers or transaction data. Monri Processes payments in accordance with PCI-DSS standards to ensure secure handling of payment information.

3.1.1. Credit and Debit Card Purchase Security Statement

The confidentiality of your data is protected and ensured by using the latest version of TLS encryption. Online billing sites are secured using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit data encryption. SSL encryption is the process of encrypting data to prevent unauthorized access during its transmission. This enables a secure data transfer and prevents unauthorized data access during communication between user and Monri WebPay Payment Gateway and vice versa.
Monri WebPay Payment Gateway and financial institutions exchange data by using their virtual private
network (VPN) which is also protected from unauthorized access. Monri Payments is PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment service provider regulated by Visa and Mastercard rules.
Credit card numbers are not stored by Merchant and are not available to unauthorized personnel.

3.2. Direct bank transfer

Make your payment directly into our bank account. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.

4. Shipping and shipping costs

All goods are shipped from Croatia. Any applicable shipping costs will be displayed during checkout before you approve payment.
Shipping costs are calculated according to the destination zone as follows: within Croatia (via GLS), delivery to Zagreb is €5, the rest of Croatia €6, and the islands €7, with free shipping on orders over €70 and delivery times of 2–5 business days (7–14 days for islands). For the European Union (via GLS), Zone I (€13) includes Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Hungary, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and Slovakia; Zone II (€15) includes Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and Sweden. EU orders over €100 ship free, with typical delivery within 7–14 business days.

5. Delivery

We will post the goods ordered by you to the name and address you provide at the time of purchase. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days from dispatch. All delivery times quoted are estimates based on availability, normal processing, and courier services.
You become the owner of the goods once they are dispatched from our distribution centre in Croatia.

5.1. Delivery of physical products

Oaza Books packages ordered products in a manner that prevents damage during standard handling. Upon receiving the shipment, the Customer should inspect the package and report any visible damage to the delivery provider immediately.

If the Customer does not receive the goods or the delivery notice within the expected timeframe, the Customer should notify Oaza Books so appropriate measures may be taken. If the Customer refuses to receive goods that were properly delivered, Oaza Books reserves the right to request reimbursement of delivery-related costs. Oaza Books ships orders after receiving confirmation of approved online payment.

Once the courier (the delivery company) receives the shipment from the seller, the seller is no longer responsible for the further course of delivery and any delays and problems that may arise in connection with further handling and delivery of goods.

5.2. Delivery of Digital Products

When purchasing a digital product such as an e-book file, the Customer will receive an e-mail from Oaza Books providing download access and instructions. The Customer may download the digital product without time limitation. If the Customer is unable to download the digital product due to technical problems caused by the Oaza Books server, Oaza Books will send a new download link at no additional cost. If technical difficulties continue due to issues on the Oaza Books server, the Customer should contact our support team at info@o-a-z-a.com so that a suitable solution can be provided without additional charges. If the Customer cannot download the product due to technical difficulties caused by the Customer’s device, internet provider or a third party, Oaza Books is not responsible and is not obligated to provide a free replacement or alternative means of delivery.

6. Conditions for returns, refunds, or replacement of products

Oaza Books is obliged to deliver both physical and digital publications that are sound, functional, and correspond to their product descriptions.

6.1. Conditions for Digital Products
If a digital publication contains a technical malfunction (such as a corrupted or unreadable file), the Customer must report the issue within four working days of purchase. Once Oaza Books confirms the defect, a replacement digital file will be provided within three working days, free of charge. Refunds are not issued for digital publications; only replacement files are provided in the case of confirmed technical malfunctions.

6.2. Conditions for Physical products
If a physical product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, the Customer must report the issue within 14 days of delivery, including a description and photographic evidence where relevant. Once the issue is confirmed, Oaza Books will—at its discretion—replace the item or offer a refund. Depending on the nature of the complaint, the Customer may be asked to return the defective item before a replacement or refund is issued.

7. Copyright Protection

All intellectual property rights to digital and printed works sold through the Oaza Books webshop are reserved. The Customer agrees not to reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, broadcast or sell Oaza Books products or any part thereof without explicit written permission from Oaza Books.

8. Customer Data Protection

The Oaza Books webshop processes Customer data exclusively for fulfilling purchase obligations and for understanding Customer needs in order to improve services. Oaza Books may collect data related to the manner in which Customers use the webshop, including information such as IP addresses and browsing patterns, without disclosing the identity of the Customer. The Customer has the right to request the correction or updating of inaccurate personal data. Marketing communication is optional, and the Customer may choose to unsubscribe from marketing e-mails at any time. Oaza Books does not store credit card data. Payments are processed by Monri Payments, which protects confidential data using encryption.

9. Limitation of Liability

Oaza Books is not responsible for costs incurred by the Customer in accessing the webshop, including internet or telecommunications charges. Although Oaza Books strives to provide the best possible service, it does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the webshop. In case of technical errors, Customers are encouraged to report the issue to info@o-a-z-a.com so that corrective measures can be taken promptly.

10. Right and Procedure for Submitting Complaints

If you have any complaint regarding our products or services, please contact Oaza Books in writing using the contact details provided on our website. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. Oaza Books will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly and fairly in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

11. General

Oaza Books reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. All changes will be applied to the use of oazabooks.com pages. The buyer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data entered during the purchase.

The services provided by oazabooks.com Internet store do not include the costs you incur using computer equipment and services to access our site. Oaza Books is not responsible for telephone costs, Internet traffic or any other costs that may be incurred.

Although Oaza Books strives to provide the best possible offer of services, Oaza Books cannot guarantee that the services on oazabooks.com will meet your needs, nor can it guarantee that the service will be error-free. If an error occurs, please e-mail info@o-a-z-a.com in order to eliminate it as soon as possible.

12. Currency Conversion

All payments are made in Euros. If a Customer’s card issuer applies a currency conversion, the exchange rate applied depends on the policies of the card issuer.
