Oaza designs, researches, curates, directs and edits content for visual identities, books, campaigns, exhibitions and digital media. Next to commissions and collaborations Oaza investigates topics of interest through self-initiated total design projects which reflect the general approach to design as a political and social discipline directed towards critical questioning of our everyday. Ongoing projects explore alternative models of production and natural resources within Made In, Oaza Books independent publishing and Female history of design through the project Designers 1930 — 1980: Context, Production, Influences. Besides self-initiated projects, Oaza members are active in the fields of formal and informal design education.
Received her Master’s degree in Experience Design at Konstfack University, College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm in 2011. She works as a researcher and practitioner in the field of visual communication, education, exhibition setup, speculative design, art direction, product design, interior design and scenography. Her work has been included, published and awarded in domestic and international exhibitions of design and art.
Graduated in conceptual design from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2007. Since then, she has been actively contributing to the independent cultural scene through projects of various sizes and impacts. From 2013 to 2017 she was the director of the Croatian Designers Association, involved in the creative direction, curation and management of initiatives, platforms, festivals and educational projects. She designs, curates, researches and writes about design.
Earned a master’s degree in Scenography from Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2009. Since 2008 she has been working as a theatre artist in scenographies, exhibition settings, curatorial concepts, visual communications for institutions in culture, and on self-initiated projects in the field of product design. Her work has been included, published and awarded in domestic and international exhibitions of design and art.
Works within the domain of the independent cultural sector and self-initiated design projects. The wide spectre of activities includes curatorial practices, projects in social, strategic and conceptual design, publishing and informal design education. She actively collaborates with international interdisciplinary teams on different projects and initiatives, many of which were recognised and awarded within the professional field. She holds a Konstfack University of Arts and Crafts degree.
A graphic designer based in Zagreb, working within independent and institutional cultural production for the past 20 years. Prefers collaborations with peers or being a member of interdisciplinary teams. Her experience includes visual communication design for cultural events, publication design, visual identities, and a pinch of design for digital media. Her current interests focus on low-stress and slow-design processes.
Is a visual communication designer, active in the field of the cultural and commercial sector, working in the fields of graphic design, editorial, digital media and self-initiated research and educational projects since 2010. She is an assistant professor at the School of Design at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb. She deals with visual communications, designs books and exhibition sets, conducts research and educational design projects and continuously exhibits in Croatia and abroad.
An essayist, editor, writer, translator, and literary critic interested in where experimental & genre modes of literature & pop culture touch, mesh, and entangle. After working as culture editor in a fashion magazine, an artist’s assistant, and a bookseller & bookshop manager, she’s landed gently into the oasis of Oaza as office & studio manager, alongside developing her own editorial & writing practice. She holds MAs in Comp. Lit. and Russian Language & Lit., publishes regularly in various indie media outlets and is on the editorial board of the literary site Kritika-hdp.
Studied at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, specializing in South Slavic languages and literatures and in librarianship. Accumulated extensive experience in the cultural sector, particularly in publishing. As manager of the Fraktura Bookstore, founded and led the Fraktura Book Club, and later further developed her professional path through sales roles at Petrine knjige and at the Book Fair(y) in Istria, Pula. In March 2025, together with Lara Mitraković, she launched Ukleti klub, a reading club hosted at the Studio-gallery Klet. At Oaza, she works across sales, project support, and book publishing, contributing to the organization’s cultural and editorial programs.
