The artist's book "Stitch the Ruin" expands a 16mm film and research project examining textile production in the former Yugoslavia, addressing labor histories, gendered economies, antifascist movements, and the collapse of post-socialist industry. The publication brings together experimental images, film stills, and archival material, approaching clothing as an archive of memory, loss and transformation. It translates camera-based processes—such as photograms and hand-processing—into print.
The book includes contributions by curator Ana Janevski and independent writer Petra Belc Krnjaić, situating the work within broader feminist and socio-political contexts.
